Power

image
Who can hold on to it?
Those who don’t have it
They want it
Those who have it:-
Some give it away
Some hold on so tight
When all is said and done
Both are the same
Power cannot be owned
It is always on a lease
No matter what, that lease expires
While you have it
You can share it and enjoy it
Or you can hoard it and let it destroy you
Power in whatever form or shape
Is a master often disguised as a servant
How you treat it determines your end
Power is borrowed
It never really is yours
No matter how heady it feels
And if you forget that
You will expire
Before your time.

    Good morning,
I have just awoken and was about to get up when I looked on my mobile and saw a notification for a new posting from you. I’ve just read it and can say only one word to it and that is, Beautiful!

Thank you for sharing your insights, your creativity, and your wisdom in 2014. Your words have made my life richer.

Have a blessed Christmas and a great entrance into the New Year.

    Shalom,
    Patricia

    1. Hello Patricia, that means a lot especially due to the busy schedule that prevents me from writing as much as I would have liked to.

Merry Christmas to you too and looking forward to a great great new year full of health and peace and all things blessed.

      Thanks again Patricia.
